2025 V-Strom 650XT Adventure

Point the iconic DR-BIG beak of the V-Strom at the horizon as the 37L quick-release aluminum panniers, rugged accessory bar, handlebar cross-brace, and mirror extensions are standard equipment. Finished with Glass Sparkle Black paint, the V-Strom 650XT Adventure rolls out on tubeless-spoke wheels with gold-anodized rims that are sized right for the mission.

Engine Features
Liquid-cooled, 645cc, V-twin engine delivers a strong rush of high-rpm power that benefits any riding mission, The engine’s 90-degree crankshaft and ignition timing provide perfect primary balance for superb traction at all speeds while delivering a pleasant, rumbling exhaust note.

Low-friction resin-coated pistons and SCEM-coated cylinders help deliver improved mileage for class-leading touring range.

Suzuki’s patented Throttle-body Integrated Idle Speed Control (TI-ISC) stabilizes the engine idle speed and helps lower emissions. The system is compact and lightweight.

The Engine Control Module (ECM) provides state-of-the-art engine management and has enhanced settings to suit the updated intake and exhaust systems, resulting in better fuel economy and linear throttle response.
Transmission Features
The six-speed transmission suits sporty rides with tight first through fifth gear ratios and a tall top gear (sixth gear) for highway cruising.

The multi-plate clutch has precise push rod actuation of the pressure plate for a light lever pull and a consistent release point.

A low-maintenance, long-life, sealed O-ring drive chain is standard.
Chassis Features
Adventure features include a handlebar cross-brace that is an excellent foundation to mount accessories like a GPS, plus mirror extensions so a rider sees less of themself, and more of what is behind the motorcycle.

The V-Strom 650XT Adventure also comes with a rugged accessory bar, hand guards, and a protective lower engine cowl.

The lightweight, rigid twin-spar aluminum frame and swingarm contribute to smooth handling performance and help provide excellent stability.

Spoke-style wheels, with gold-anodized aluminum rims laced with stainless steel spokes, absorb shock from irregular road surfaces well and accept tubeless tires.
Electrical Features
LCD readouts include an odometer, dual tripmeter, traction control modes, gear position, coolant and ambient air temperature, fuel consumption, fuel gauge, and a clock. Switching between readings can be done with the left handlebar switch.

The V-Strom 650XT Adventure is equipped with Suzuki’s Advanced Traction Control System*, which lets the rider control the throttle with more confidence in various riding conditions. It continuously monitors front and rear wheel speeds, throttle opening, engine speed, and the selected transmission gear to adjust engine output if wheel spin is detected.

Suzuki’s Low RPM Assist feature seamlessly adjusts engine speed during takeoff and low-speed riding to smooth the power delivery. It also helps reduce the possibility of the rider stalling the motorcycle.

This V-Strom also features the Suzuki Easy Start System, which lets the rider start the motorcycle with a momentary press of the start button without pulling in the clutch lever when the transmission is in neutral.
Body & Styling Features
The beak-style fairing, with vertically stacked headlights and a stronger internal structure, helps the V-Strom 650XT Adventure cut through the wind, protecting the rider in style.

The three-way height-adjustable windscreen was wind tunnel-tested to reduce wind sounds, buffeting, and rider fatigue.

The lightweight resin luggage rack incorporates easy-to-grasp grab bars and aligns with the passenger section of the seat, offering a larger surface for carrying cargo or luggage.

The fuel tank has a generous 5.3-gallon capacity but is shaped to be thin at the rear to flow into the slimmer seat, helping the rider’s feet touch the ground at stops.
Additional Features
The aluminum side cases fitted to the V-Strom 650XT Adventure, and the matching accessory top case from Suzuki Genuine Accessories, use a sturdy lock and latch system with a unique style key that does not match the motorcycle’s ignition key.
